Soon after stepping into an unfurnished apartment, the fresh immigrant’s new place is visited by a strange guest who makes him rethink the meaning of home.

Synopsis

A young man sits alone trying to settle into his new place until disturbed by a loud knock on the door. After inspecting and finding no one, he tries to shut the door but a large man holding a knife barges in and begins asking incomprehensible questions. This triggers a bizarre and unsettling conversation about where home is. Finally, their exchange is interrupted by a phone call, which makes the young man realize he and the seemingly paranoid stranger have more in common than he first thought.

This is a dreamlike piece that serves to briefly and abstractly capture the feeling of diaspora.
